Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.

  1. Hi Amelia,
This is so true but it is something that is easy to forget. I am a photographer and have been following your inspiring posts for a while. In photography I feel the emphasis is often put on technique (or knowledge)when what is really important is vision or imagination. I believe it is how we "see" an image which is important and determins its success or failure, much more so than technical knowledge.

    1. Hi Gill, thanks for stopping by and for your positive words. I totally agree with you and I think this particularly happens in a section of the arts where it's more based on technical skill (the creative/vision side can become sidelined!) It's also this vision that makes work rich and interesting :)

  2. Awesome quote, Amelia! Such a great lesson in life to keep in mind! Sometimes we underestimate the power of imagination and creativity; and knowledge only takes us so far! It's how we use that knowledge to innovate that makes a difference!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
