How To Fill Your Sketchbook: 12 exciting art experiments

I guess this is a pre-Christmas present . . . I've been working away on some e-book ideas and decided I should do one for you for FREE as a present to say THANK YOU! thank you for the support, the kind words, the visits, and the amazing leaps I've seen people take on the experimental art e-course . . ..  so if you would like to find out more, and get my first ever e-book, head over to my shiny new 'art mailing list' and sign up to get your free copy (cover above - designed by me and the book has art made by me in it too!)

Also, my sis is giving away free tickets to a lovely event if you check out this post here . . . and I've finally made it back in to college for the beginnings of Year 2 of my art MA. I feel some installation art coming on amongst other things . . . watch this space. . . .

And remember, there is currently an early bird price offer on the SHINY NEW OPEN ACCESS experimental art e-course. Places are filling up . . so head over and grab your spot too if you want to join the party! You get to do art for the same whole year I'm doing art (on my MA) too.

LETS FILL THIS WORLD WITH ART AND CREATIVITY! :)

Also i've been meaning to let you know i had a great time following through Journal your dreams and i created a few pages in my journal book as we progressed in the class. Sorry i have been very quiet in class but i've been creating silently in the background. :) Thank YOU so much for that wonderful opportunity.

  12. Hi Amelia - thanks so much for ALL the information you share here and on the course. I've just signed up to the mailing list and downloaded the e-book - that should help any withdrawal symptoms, although I have signed up for the sparkly new e-course too !!

  13. Re: your question about ads - I use an adblocker. I cannot abide ads on blogs, or anywhere really. I minimise my exposure whenever possible. I also hate sponsored posts and have turned down several advances plus regular writing work when I still had my own blog. I appreciate you want and need to make a living but I'm afraid I'm in complete agreement with Keri Smith over this. And looking at it from another point of view unless your stats are REALLY high the revenue will be extremely low!

That said I do of course wish you well! I hope all your hard work continues to pay off (literally!) and congratulations on the e-book :-)

  14. Hi Sarah, thanks for your comments re. ads. I thought you'd written on the post above, but then saw it was here! I think you're right about really high stats and I myself feel a little unsure about this particular experiment of mine, hence the very obvious sign about it and also the placing (bottom left). I do have issue with corporate ads and generally have an aversion to ads but mainly the ones that are so insulting to human intelligence . . . (which many are I think!) however, anyone who runs a business wants to advertise to get people to know about it/them and some of the ads below are about art schools and such that aren't corporate, and of course I advertise my own things here so for me it's the line between what kind of ad's are okay and which are not? Or are all ad's terrible? . . . maybe it's another of those creative experiments I will discard, and yes, maybe it was an idea for revenue for the MA . . . but hhhhmmm I don't know unless we I try/experiment.
